Just need to send a reminder to all…….
On Saturday Evening at 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., we are hosting our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service.
Sunday is Christmas, and knowing there are many events to juggle, I just want you all to know we are “open” for business! After all, it is our “founder’s” birthday we are celebrating. I just couldn’t close up shop… LOL
All kidding aside, Sunday Service is at 10:15 a.m. – 11 a.m.! (That is correct, 45 minutes.) No Sunday School.
The lights of Christmas are so appropriate! They are brilliant as they pierce the darkness and illuminate their surroundings. Jesus is the light of the world…and in Him there is no darkness at all.
One of the most frightening occasions in life is when we cannot see, for whatever the reason or cause. Not being able to see places us in great vulnerability to danger. Jesus provides all the light we need. Going through life without Him can lead to very precarious pathways and thoughts. Fear, depression, sickness, and loneliness are dark places. Let us light up every dark corner of life with the “Light of the World,” making Christmas bright with praise, prayer and worship of the King of Kings and Lord or Lords!
See You in Church,
Pastor Greg
P.S. Remember to get your year-end tithes and offerings in for your tax-deduction credit for 2016.
