It’s amazing how “being made” in His image and likeness helps me relate to Him. I mean He has hands, i.e. “the Hand of God so moved.” Or the “eyes of the Lord search to and fro.” How about the “ears of the Lord are open to their cry.” He even makes His enemies His “footstool.” I think you get the picture.
But the “over the top” is this…a holy invitation.
Psalm 34:8 New King James Version (NKJV)
Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good;
Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
Taste is automatic…think about a lemon or a strawberry. How about chocolate or coffee? Grapefruit? Cilantro? The psalmist is inviting the reader to taste and see…
Once you do, you’ll know the Lord is Good!
Wednesday night at 6:30 pm we kick the fall off with an ice cream social…in this case Kopp’s custard. No debate, it is good. Bring whom you like. The service is brief. A song, a prayer and devotion. Then custard is served.
See You in Church,
Pastor Greg
